It’s Time for the National PTA Reflections Program! Reflections encourages student creativity through a nationwide art contest. Students can submit 🩰 Dance Choreography, ​🎼 Music Composition, 📚 Literature, 🎬 Film Production, 🎨 Visual Arts, and 📸 Photography. Entries are judged on theme relevance, creativity, and technical skill.

Musson Fun Run – Friday, October 3rd

The PTA is thrilled to announce this year’s Musson Fun Run—coordinated and executed by our extremely hard-working volunteers! We can’t wait to celebrate together. Here’s everything you need to know:

 📍 New Obstacle Course

• We'll have an obstacle course set up at Musson Elementary, next to the playground.
• Thanks to raising $15,000, we’ve added an inflatable obstacle course as a bonus!

🙌 Get Involved

• Families are welcome to come cheer! Please stand around the outside of the track—for safety, no one should stand in the middle.

🎶 DJ Shout-Outs

👟 Student Prep Tips

• Wear safe running shoes (no sandals or crocs).
• Wear your new class t-shirt to show school spirit!
• Bring a labeled, water bottle to stay hydrated.
• Pack an extra pair of socks—morning grass can be wet.

🚗 Parking Reminder

• Parking will be very limited—please plan to park on nearby neighborhood streets and walk to Musson.
• Do not park on the Consumer’s Energy property next to the school.

We’re excited to announce our new “Fun Run & Done” fundraising campaign (formerly known as “One and Done”)! This year, we’re focusing on making a big impact with just one contribution.

 🎯 Our Goal

• Raise $20,000 through both individual donations and business sponsorships.
• Individual goal: $50 per student

 Every student who raises $50 will receive:

• A blank Fun Run yard sign to decorate
• Special Musson Swag

The Musson Fun Run is an annual event that:

• Promotes student fitness
• Raises funds for enrichment programs & technology upgrades
• Builds school spirit and community pride
