FOUNDERS DAY
Wednesday, February 18 | 7 PM

Join us on Wednesday, February 18th at 7pm at Rochester High School Performing Arts to celebrate Musson’s 2026 Founders Day Honorees!

The Musson PTA is proud to honor Cheryl Brunner, Jen Juengel, and Dawn Rosevear, three volunteers who lead by example through their care, thoughtfulness, and steady presence. They show up time and again, often behind the scenes, giving their time and energy simply because they care. Their impact is felt across our school community, helping Musson remain a place where students and families feel supported and connected—truly Impacting Futures Together.

REFLECTIONS
Wednesday, March 18 | 6:30 PM Gallery Walk, 7 PM Ceremony

This year, Musson had 71 students share their artistic expression through six art categories. Nineteen are progressing to the District-Level judging and will be recognized at the RCS celebration at Stoney Creek High School.

 

KINDNESS CLUB
First meeting Wednesday, February 11 | 8 AM

Musson's Kindness Club inspires students to lead with integrity, compassion, and empathy. This opportunity is open to students in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade. We will meet weekly before school in the Media Center on Wednesdays at 8:00 AM.

While it's the same 9-week curriculum repeated, session 1 students are welcome to re-enroll!

FEBRUARY DINING NIGHT OUT

Shake Shack | February 11 | 10 AM - 9 PM

INTERCULTURAL NIGHT

Thursday, February 26 | 6 PM

Our theme this year is “One World, Many Lights.”Join us on Thursday, February 26th, at 6 PM for our Musson Intercultural Night and be part of this memorable celebration. This event is made possible by the generous contributions of many families in our Musson community.

We’re looking for families to sign up to participate and host a table at our Musson Intercultural Night (2/26/26)! Share your culture, traditions, food, music, or something meaningful to your family and help make this night special for our community.

$2 BAGEL FRIDAY


Remind your students to bring $2 and swing by before class to grab a delicious bagel, sold by our 5th graders. Every bite helps fund their end-of-year celebration

AUTHORS IN APRIL AUTHOR VISIT

Musson PTA is proud to once again participate in Authors in April, a nationally recognized program unique to Rochester. Now in its 43rd year, this nonprofit organization brings renowned authors and illustrators to students and families in our community.

On Friday, May 1, Musson students will have the opportunity to meet their grade-level author, hear about their creative process, and engage in an inspiring literary experience.

Book Signings:
Authors will be autographing books throughout their visit to Rochester. Stay tuned for more details on how to get your child's book signed!

AUTHORS IN APRIL BOOKS & BAGELS
Tuesday, March 3 | 8-8:50 AM

Join us in the Musson Media Center for a morning of books, bagels, and community as we kick off Authors in April 2026! Browse and purchase books from this year’s featured authors.

Enjoy a bagel for just $2 cash (profits support the 5th-grade party). We accept cash or credit for book purchases. All students must be accompanied by an adult. This is not a drop off event!


AUTHORS IN APRIL BOOK CLUB


We invite students in TK through 3rd grade to participate in engaging book discussions and fun projects—plus, you'll get to take home a book!

  • 4th/5th Grade: Tuesday, March 24 & Tuesday, April 7
  • 2nd/3rd Grade: Monday, April 13
  • TK/K/1st Grade: Friday, April 17

BINGO NIGHT
Tuesday, March 10 | 6:45*-8:30pm

*First game begins at 7pm

Join your fellow Musson friends and families for a night of games, prizes, and so much fun! All students must be accompanied by an adult. This is not a drop off event!

Tickets are pre-sale only and final sale (sorry, no refunds). Siblings welcome with purchased ticket.

$10 Student & Sibling Bingo Player (Includes bingo prizes, water and a bag of popcorn)

Donate February 23-March 9 | Book Swap March 13

March is reading month and Musson is celebrating with a Book Swap! You can donate new or gently used books February 23-March 9. More details coming soon! Students will shop for a new-to-them books on Friday, March 13.
